Senior care rebrands in Florida: 6 that moved census, not just logos
The Florida senior care and skilled nursing rebrands we're proudest of, and what each one actually earned back. Post-hurricane rebuilds, multi-facility brand architecture, and one facility that filled 104 beds in 4 months.
Florida runs on senior care. Skilled nursing, assisted living, memory care, rehab, all of it, at a density most states never reach. So a lot of our healthcare work lives here, and a lot of it started the same way: a building that had changed, and a brand that hadn’t caught up.
Here are six Florida senior care rebrands we’re proud of, and what each one earned back. No highlight reel. Where we have a number, it’s here. Where we don’t, we tell you what the work moved instead.
1. Village Place — 104 beds, full in 4 months
A hurricane took Village Place down to the studs. Legacy United rebuilt it, HHdesigners reimagined the interior as a premium rehab and recovery space, and by the time the doors were ready to reopen the building was beautiful. It also had no recent track record and no presence in the market it was returning to.
We built the brand in 6 weeks and deployed it across eight categories before the doors opened: strategy, wordmark, photography, facility film, signage, on-site experience, digital, and out-of-home.
The facility filled 104 beds and hit full census in 4 months from a standing start. A skilled nursing facility coming out of construction usually takes 12-18 months. The brand and the bricks moved together.

2. Carlton Shores — a coastal escape, Daytona Beach
Another hurricane, another rebuild. Carlton Shores Health and Rehab in Daytona Beach came back with a new interior designed as a coastal escape, and we led the brand, photography, facility film, on-site experience, and website.
The point of the work was consistency from the curb to the bedside. A family driving up should feel the same thing they feel at the nurses’ station, on the welcome card, and on the website they checked the night before. That’s what earns a tour.

3. Coastal System — one system, six identities
Six healthcare facilities in Florida. Each with its own name, its own neighborhood, its own staff and residents. The brief was a brand architecture that gives all six a shared visual grammar and a shared posture without flattening what makes each one its own place.
We built the mark family, the identity system, stationery, packaging, and signage in 14 weeks. One system that holds at facility 6 as cleanly as it does at facility 1. This is the work most multi-facility operators need and rarely get, because it takes a system, not six one-off logos.

4. Glades West — 30+ admissions from a cold territory
Glades West Rehabilitation had a hospital referral territory that had gone cold since 2021. We ran the full rebrand and marketing push.
The work brought back 30-plus new admissions from that territory and prevented $20,000-plus in bad debt. That’s the kind of number that ends the “does branding actually pay for itself” conversation in one meeting.

5. Prestige — a healthcare brand shot from scratch
Prestige needed a brand identity, a photography library, digital, and applications built as one system. No stock. Every image on the site and in the collateral was shot on-site, because families and case managers can tell the difference between a real lobby and a purchased one in about half a second.
The result is a healthcare brand that reads as premium on a building sign, warm on a family welcome packet, and credible on a one-pager going to a hospital case manager. Three audiences, one system.

6. Precision Healthcare — a portfolio under one standard
Precision Healthcare Services runs a portfolio of rehabilitation and long-term care brands, including Greenbriar, Wilton Manors, The Ponce, and Carlton Shores. We built a complete identity system: wordmark, dotted-mark, stationery, signage, web, and social, with every surface set to a single quality standard.
Portfolio operators usually accumulate brands one acquisition at a time, and end up looking like a dozen different companies. A shared standard is what makes a portfolio read as one operator families can trust across every location.

What these six have in common
None of them started with “we need a new logo.” They started with a gap between what the operation had become and how it was being presented. A rebuilt building. A cold territory. Six facilities that didn’t look related. A premium interior with a dated brand bolted to the front.
Closing that gap is where the occupancy, referral, and recruitment gains come from. When the gap isn’t there, we say so, and we tell the operator to fix the operation first. A brand painted over a broken operation gets sensed by families, by surveyors, and by staff.
If you run a senior care facility or a portfolio in Florida and the brand stopped matching the operation, we should talk. You can see more of the work on the Florida market page and across our healthcare branding practice.
Frequently asked questions
- What does a senior care rebrand cost in Florida?
- A complete rebrand for a single Florida skilled nursing or senior living facility typically runs $50,000-$150,000, depending on photography production, facility film, signage scope, and how much of the physical environment gets touched. Multi-facility portfolios move to a retainer that covers the parent brand plus property-level identities. The work pays back inside the first census cycle when it's tied to a real operational change.
- How long does a Florida senior living rebrand take?
- Most healthcare rebrands take 12-16 weeks of build. With leadership aligned in writing before creative starts and a single integrated team, 6 weeks is achievable. Village Place shipped in 6 weeks of build plus parallel deployment across signage, hospitality, and digital. Timeline is set by how many decisions get re-opened, not how complex the work is.
- Do you only work with facilities in Florida?
- No. MOZART&CO. works with senior care operators across the country, and a large share of our healthcare portfolio happens to be in Florida because that's where a lot of skilled nursing and rehab investment has concentrated. We build brand systems for single communities and for multi-facility networks in any market.
- Can a rebrand actually raise occupancy?
- When the operation has genuinely changed and the brand hasn't caught up, closing that gap moves occupancy, referral conversion, and recruitment. A rebrand painted over a fragmented or under-performing operation does not. Families sense the gap, and so do discharge planners. We scope the work to what the operation can back up.
